Hello, I’m Njofie Wilson Nzometia, Founder of Afritech Global, Afritech Institute and Afritech Academy.

At Afritech, we provide cutting-edge digital technology solutions, including web design, digital marketing, business automation, AI Integration and comprehensive tech training, to help businesses and individuals thrive in a digital world.

My passion for technology and entrepreneurship began in childhood. Growing up in M’muock, a village in the South West Region of Cameroon, I was fascinated by every digital gadget I could get my hands on, from televisions and radios to mobile phones. I spent hours exploring how each device worked, sparking a lifelong curiosity that eventually led me to the digital realm.

My journey took a pivotal turn during my secondary school years when I got my first mobile phone, which granted me access to the internet. At just 12 years old, while in Form 3, I began using the internet as a tool for self-education. 

Over time, through relentless personal study and exploration, I evolved from a graphic designer into a proficient web developer, mastering various coding languages and web technologies through numerous training programs and online courses.

For over 15 years, I have been passionate about leveraging technology to create positive change across Africa and around the world. My journey in tech has empowered thousands, starting from my high school days, to harness digital tools for growth and innovation.

After serving a diverse range of clients with top-tier web design and digital marketing services at Afritech Global, I founded Afritech Institute, a professional training institution based in Dschang, Cameroon. This institution aims to equip youths with the skills needed to succeed in today’s job market.

I equally co-founded Afritech Academy, an online platform offering free digital skills training courses to Africans and beyond. 

Our work has not only helped bridge the digital skills gap but has also earned me prestigious accolades, including Cameroon’s Best Digital Entrepreneur 2020 by the Bonteh Digital Media Award and Cameroon’s Best Impact Tech Promoter 2020 by the GAICAM Cameroon Heroes Award.

My work has impacted thousands of people accross Africa and around the globe.

I remain committed to continuous learning and research, always seeking new knowledge and skills so I can inspire and educate more people in the tech industry. 

I love discussing the vast opportunities in the tech sector, the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, and the profound impact technology has on society.

My work has been featured on several major Cameroonian media platforms, including Equinoxe TV, CRTV, BCTV, MimiMefo Info, and the Cameroon News Agency. 

I have also had the honour of representing our vision at business conferences in Rwanda, Ghana, and Dubai.
